Holidays Amid Covid

The holidays are here, bringing thoughts of warmth, familial gatherings and closeness;  unfortunately, Covid and other illnesses are here too. As to be expected in the winter months, illnesses spike as we move indoors and the cold weather encroaches. The CDC notes the importance of being vaccinated for flu and, especially, Covid before gathering with family members or friends that you are not in frequent contact with. However, the most important thing to remember is to not host or attend any event when you or someone in your household is feeling sick. ABC News also discusses the importance of taking extra precautions for large gatherings this winter, such as getting tested for covid ahead of the big day.
